Spotlight: Improved since going handicapping, decent Thurles effort followed by 2m Gowran win last month on heavy under a positive ride from today's rider; 5lb higher and this looks a much stronger race.

Spotlight: Front-runner won Tramore novice on New Year's Day and followed up later in month under similar tactic in 2m Naas handicap (both 2m, soft); jumping let him down at Thurles following month over a bit further but don't rule out him bouncing back and this easy 2m to suit.
