Spotlight: It's almost three years since she won on turf but she's struck up a good relationship with Rose Dawes on the AW this year, winning three of her last four; hard to discount in current form.

Spotlight: Regressed last year and goes without the usual headgear on his return from four months off; twice ran well off higher marks over C&D last summer, though, and ran well on his 2yo debut, so a better showing wouldn't surprise as long as there's not much rain.

Spotlight: Inconsistent filly who lost a shoe when behind Port Noir at Kempton last time; goes without cheekpieces again under Billy Loughnane, who's 3-17 for the yard after a few recent winners for them.

Spotlight: Didn't take to hurdles late last year having enjoyed a consistent time on the Flat; sole win came over C&D off today's mark and Rossa Ryan, who rode a winner for the yard at Doncaster last weekend, is an obvious plus.

Spotlight: Makes debut for a sixth yard, having closed out last season with a heavy-ground C&D win in a first-time tongue-tie for Alison Thorpe; there's nothing to suggest he's best caught fresh, and a 7lb rise looks plenty.

Spotlight: Won second time out last spring and a reproduction wouldn't surprise, as she was not suited by the way the race panned out on AW comeback; on a competitive mark now for a yard enjoying a good spell and she is one to consider.

Spotlight: Frequent Wolverhampton winner who's 0-12 on turf, including in his Irish days (has 4lb lower mark than on the AW); very consistent, though, and should get the good pace he wants, so every chance he gets involved again.

Spotlight: Sole win during a long career came in a 0-50 classified event on the AW in February; string of generally poor turf efforts when trained in Ireland dampens enthusiasm as he comes back down in distance.

Spotlight: Wolverhampton specialist who doesn't run often on turf these days and rarely goes this far; not in much form on the AW this year and isn't obviously fancied.

Spotlight: Often came to hand early in the past but is getting on now and has never won first time out; carries a big weight, ideally suited by an easy 7f and today's stiff 1m doesn't appeal as optimal.

Spotlight: Running fairly well on the AW when last seen but in only 0-50 company and he is a highly infrequent winner; no more than each-way claims.

Spotlight: Couple of costly defeats for George Boughey early last year, not looking the easiest; more of the same in three runs for his current yard and there are obvious risks back up in trip in a first-time hood after eight months off; likely has the ability though.

Spotlight: All four wins have come on good to soft/soft ground in September, including over C&D last autumn off 6lb lower; record returning from a break down the years is far from inspiring.

Spotlight: Exposed as ordinary on the AW, placed just once from ten starts; needs to improve a good deal for the switch to turf.
